Where our event specialists have been working so far this summer

Though August should traditionally bring with it long summer days and holidays – for the LH Woodhouse team it brings the high season for shows & events the length and breadth of the UK.

So, as you can imagine, our hire equipment and installation teams have been continuously on the move from one venue to another, avoiding the holiday traffic and the changeable weather as they go, to make sure they arrive on-time.

See where we’ve been and where we’re going next:

CLA Game Fair – Harewood House

Back here after a twelve year absence, this year’s three day CLA Game Fair saw a whopping 131,250 people in attendance and saw visitors raise £8,400 for the Prince’s Trust. It was great to be part of the Game Fair team and for our our events specialists to install our marquees, trade stands and grandstand and it definitely enabled the LH Woodhouse team finish July on a high.

The National Eisteddfod of Wales – Montgomeryshire

With no room for a break, our August high season got off to a flying start, installing multiple trade stands at The National Eisteddfod, the pinnacle of the Welsh cultural celebration.

The Festival of British Eventing – Gatcombe Park

So great to be her once again, providing quality trade stands to tempt the public, and the Woodhouse barn style temporary stables for the eventers comfort and safety. Great competition and a great win for Australian Chris Burton.

Equifest – Peterborough

Heading next to the unmissable 5-day festival for our 1st contract, the LH Woodhouse team installed our comfortable temporary grandstands around the gala Equifest indoor arena, for the 10,000 plus visitors that attend the East of England showground.

The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials – Burghley House

Going full steam ahead with our installations, our event specialists are currently in the midst of preparing for The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in the 1st week of September – erecting trade stands, temporary stables, grandstands and trackway – leaving no time for standing still!

Now we did say it is our busy period, so we are also busy erecting our temporary stables at British Showjumping National Championships 11-16 and British Dressage Festivals at Bury Farm 21-23 and Sheepgate 24-29 as well as British Eventing at Someford Park 21-23. Showing is well represented with the BSPS Summer Championship 26-29.

If you’re heading to any of these events make sure to stop by our temporary stables, relax on our comfortable grandstands or if you’re exhibiting on one of our trade stands then we might stop by and take a photo for our Stable Mates Gallery!

Tweet the LH Woodhouse team @WoodhouseSES if you’ll be at any of these shows – and we’ll look forward to seeing you there.
