All the hard work we do here ensures success at your event, wherever it is. Our knowledge, experience and enthusiasm mean you can trust us with your temporary structures – so you can concentrate on all the other aspects of your event.
At Woodhouse, the end of the season doesn’t mean the end of our work – this is when we start the all-important preparation for the following year. In September, we grade all our Clearspan® marquee covers, tag them and plan their maintenance. We do this while they are still in use on site, because the natural light helps us assess their condition. Then, using our giant 7.4-metre Havencrown PVC washing machine, we clean and dry the covers. Next, we inspect for rips and pin-holes – and repair them on the spot or set them aside for replacement. We also inspect the aluminium frames and steel connections, base-plates and stakes, before cleaning and stacking them away.
We take a different approach for our temporary stabling – because of the sheer volume (over 3,000 of them) and their style of construction. We inspect, grade, wash and repair the PVC roof covers in a similar way to the marquee covers, and then inspect the stable doors, sides and rear partition walls for any damage, repairing or replacing as necessary. Horses do more damage to the traditional timber stables, so we rigorously inspect all the doors, sides and back sections, and rebuild around a third of them each year.
We also inspect, clean and, where necessary, replace our Quicktrack and Horse Walks, along with our wide range of accessories. So everything is fit for purpose, ready for the next time you need them at your venue.
